The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery announced the following awards at its annual symposium May 1-5, 2004: Govindappa Venkataswamy of India, Claes H. Dohlman of Boston, MA, and Jonas S. Friedenwald have been inducted into the Ophthalmology Hall of Fame; Roger F. Steinert of Boston, MA, received the Binkhorst Medal; and John Marshall of London, England, was named the 2004 Charles D. Kelman Innovator's Lecturer.
