A patient of mine who was taking 45 mg/day of phenelzine...

A patient of mine who was taking 45 mg/day of phenelzine developed nausea, vomiting, flushing, and headache after eating sushi. When questioned, she said she had eaten raw tuna. She described a similar reaction one month before when she had also eaten raw tuna and was taking 60 mg/day of phenelzine. Does tuna contain tyramine? Could there be any other cause?
