Publisher: John Hopkins University Press
ISSN: 0040-165X / 1097-3729

Description:

Technology and Culture is the foremost international vehicle for the scholarship of professional historians of technology--and for the historical writing of scholars and professionals in a variety of neighboring disciplines: engineers, anthropologists, sociologists, museum curators, archvists, and others. Each issue features 30-40 book reviews and reviews of important new museum exhibitions. To illuminate important debates in the field and draw attention to specific topics, the journal occasionally publishes thematic issues. Recent special issues have focused on biomedical technology, patents and inventions; labor history and the history of technology; engineering in the twentieth century; and gender and technology.
