The primary aims of Expert Evidence are to promote a deeper understanding of the nature theory and practice of the relationship between the behavioural sciences and law. The journal exists to promote communication on such matters between experts in different disciplines. The journal is particularly concerned with behavioural science which is or may be offered to the courts as expert evidence and in its reception and assessment by courts and tribunals. The journal will publish research articles critical reviews theoretical papers case studies and book reviews. It is particularly relevant to academics researchers and practitioners in the areas of psychology psychiatry and law. It is also relevant to those working in: policing probation prisons and social work.
